Here are the 239 letters my father, Lt. Ernest Anders Erickson wrote home to his folks in Bismarck, North Dakota between 1942-1945. They cover the time when he first left for Flight Training at Kelly Field in March of 1942, through Advanced Flight Training at Langley Field, Virginia to his overseas stationing at Horham Airfield in England. They continue on to his return to bases in Yuma, AZ. and Miami, Florida through his final days in the Air Corps in late 1945. |
