mission list and twelve B-17 Flying Fortresses flown between
March 27th thru August 26th, 1944 out of Horham Airfield, England.

My father Lt. Ernest Anders Erickson picked this up in a shop in London on one of his "Flak" leaves when he was flying B-17s out of Horham Airfield in England with the 95th Bomb Groups (Heavy) in 1944.

The cup is a late 1930s German silver Collapsible/Extendible Travel Cup. As a kid whenever I could get a hold of it I loved to play with the what i thought was the coolest Telescope, yet my imagination was the only way to see any long distance visions.

The Travel Cup came in a nice red leather case. He used it in the barracks and often when he traveled. I used it often when camping and traveling and still enjoy opening it up.
