A letter home to his folks and four year old sister Dian (Dinny). Written
late in the morning at Horham Airfield on DDay June 6th 1944, after
completing a mission early that morning over Boulogne-sur-Mer and
Calais, France.
Heading back to England, he and the crew viewed from above the
beginning of the invasion and the countless ships heading across the
English Channel to mainland Europe.
