My Grandmother Clara Amelia Yunhild (Nelson) Erickson in the back area of her home on Jefferson Avenue in Bismarck, North Dakota in 1992. She is tending to one of her Choke Cherry trees. Many a delicious pie was made by her from the fruit on the trees. I can still see them sitting cooling on her kitchen table.
