My cousin Michael Boutrous' misty Dakota garden in the back area of his home in Bismarck, North Dakota. It's a beautiful special place he has created. I have many great memories of this house growing up and pleased it lives on and the fact that Mike owns it and is doing a remarkable job on bringing it up to date. This garden he yearly tends and the area around it is a testimony to his connection to the land and the history of his family.

The second photograph taken at the house shows our grandfather Frank G. S. Erickson's hand made birdhouses. One was hung high up on one of the shade trees on his property on Jefferson Avenue for years until Mike retrieved it.
