With out a doubt my aunt Dian shines like the beauty she always was and here at 17 years old she is quite the young lady. Another incredible image of her with relatives on her mother Clara's side of the family. My grandmother Clara Amelia (Nelson) Erickson took the photograph. Dian stands slightly separate from the rest, dressed like she was heading out on a date and being a teenager, maybe wishing she was somewhere else. Though Dian was the kindest and sweetest gal, possibly here was just looking off, daydreaming while everyone else looks straight into the camera. Next to Dian are her two cousins, Louise and Esther Nelson, daughters of Anton Tony and Elsie Nelson. Uncle Bob and Aunt Grace (Cleveland) Nelson stand to the right in 1957 in Bismarck, North Dakota. Anton and Bob are Clara's older brothers.
