Heading north from Bismarck, North Dakota on Highway 1804 with the Missouri River skirting alongside on the left and fifteen miles west of Wilton you will be witness to the beautiful sight of Wildwood Lake in McLean County.

My aunt Abbie Ebba Angis Kristina (Lincoln) Erickson on the left and her older brother Frank Gustaf Severin Erickson and his soon to be wife, my grandmother Clara Amelia Yunhild (Erickson) Nelson enjoy an afternoon of swimming at Wildwood Lake in the Summer of 1921.
