My great uncle August (on the left) stands along side his brother, my great grandfather Anders Nelson on the front porch of the family farm in Painted Woods, North Dakota.

August and his wife Amelia (Aunt Molly) had immigrated to the states prior to Anders and his wife Gerda's (Miljander) arrival in 1903. Once situated in North Dakota, the Anders & Gerda Nelson family along with their four children lived at August and Amelia's farm in Wilton. They eventually set up their own place in Painted Woods.

Thanks to my cousin Douglas Hultberg with supplying quite a bit of new information on the Nelson / Olson / Hultberg side of the family. I truly appreciate his help for our Family Archive Project.
