My uncle Helmer Erick Olaf Erickson when he was a traveling musician in the Great Plain states in the late 19teens into the 1920s and 1930s.

He played with other musicians and bands in Speakeasies, Clubs, Cabarets and Bars around Bismarck, Mandan, Fargo and Grand Forks, North Dakota. Helmer also traveled to Minneapolis & St. Paul, Minnesota and towns in South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.
