Frank Severin Erickson shown here at seventeen years old in 1909. The photograph was taken by Frank's older brother Helmer Erickson at his 'Erickson Studio' in Wilton, North Dakota. Frank and his two sisters and three brothers and parents Christine and Anders Erickson were all born in Sweden. They immigrated to the Dakotas in 1903 from Sundsvalle, Sweden. The family lived and worked on a farm in the Ghylin Township near Regan, North Dakota. Frank's youngest brother Alphons 'Al' Erickson was born in Bismarck in 1905. |
