The U.S. Adjutant General Military Records of Pfc. Ernest Julius Alfred Erickson and Pvt. Frank Severin Gustaf Erickson from 1919. The first photograph was taken in late 1917 in Tacoma, Washington of Frank on the left, Ernest Julius standing, and their cousin, Carl Erickson. This period of time was just before Ernest Julius would begin military training at Camp Lewis. Frank would continue as an Oregon Railroad Deputy, until he was called up to the AEF in early 1918.
