mission list and twelve B-17 Flying Fortresses flown between

Over the years I have discovered a considerable number of World War II Veterans in the family, and I have dedicated hundreds of pages on the website in tribute for their service in the war. The photographs bring back that era so clearly, accompanied often by unique stories of these brave individuals.

The image below of my father and four cousins is a capsule commemoration taken from the official National World War II Memorial Registry.

The five World War II Veterans are:

Lt. Ernest Anders Erickson (Air Corps)

Machinist's Mate Benet Ripin (Navy)

Lt. William 'Bill' Eugene Nassif (Air Corps)

Lt. Benjamin Nathan Rippe (Army)

Staff Sgt. Lynn 'Lenny' Nicola
