Elena and I call this collage-photograph, 'B-17s Over Telegraph Avenue Berkeley, California.' This part of the Avenue is very near the University of California Berkeley Campus in California.

With an obvious ode to the painter Modigliani and a wink to Mrs Robinson, the swarm of B-17s hover over the East Bay.

This also is a salute to the long standing college bar and restaurant Raleighs that burnt down in 2011. At the time of this photograph Raleigh's Bar & Grill was in the process of being rebuilt, far left, under the green shroud.

The boarded up building on the left was the great Cody's Bookstore, another causality of the internet.

Collage by Mark & Elena Erickson 2015 and dedicated to our father, Lt. Ernest Anders Erickson, who truly loved the B-17 Flying Fortress.
