A 1912 photograph of my uncle Andy Anders Sebran Filimon Erickson at sixteen years old standing with a friend in his brother Helmer's "Erickson Studio" in Wilton, North Dakota.

At the time a very popular style of photography was the photograph - postcard. This card was written by Andy (going by as Sebran at the time) to his brother Frank Severin Erickson who was working and living at the time in Phoenix, Arizona.

The transcription reads:
Frank Erickson - Route 3 B102 - Phoenix, Arizona.
Mailed from Wilton, North Dakota on July 19th, 1912.

Dear Brother,
I received your postal some days ago.
Well, how are you getting along nowadays?
I am fine.
When are you coming home?
